[It's not really a surprise, and it's definitely not something Saori feels is wrong. Everyone needs to take their own path, find a hearth, settle in. The house has been a fairly happy place, and Makie has been a part of making it brighter but there's certainly no reason why Saori would have a problem with that explanation. It's not some ridiculous reason, and Makie is better.
